It’s time to go racing! Spring (summer?) has been a long time coming, and the first race of the year is upon me. I’m headed back to the trails of Italy for the Italy divide for the second year in a row, but this time I’m taking a much more appropriate bicycle – a Curve Cycling GXR, also known as Kevin.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not quite as fit as I’d really like to be for this following a couple of setbacks over the winter, but really excited to be getting back to my happy place.
What is the Italy Divide? This is an off road race from Naples to the shores of Torbole, Lake Garda, covering 1,220 km and around 20,000 m of climbing. I completed it last year and you can find out all about it on my 2 part blog here:

How can I follow the Race?
It starts at 2pm (GMT+2) on Thursday the 25th April in Naples. You can follow my progress via Trackleaders here: http://trackleaders.com/italydivide19
Don’t forget to check in on my Instagram stories as I’ll be posting updates as I go
